Stephen Timms welcomes SMF work on financial advice at Westminster event

At a Social Market Foundation event on Monday 9th Feb, Rt. Stephen Timms MP, Financial Scretary to HM Treasury welcomed the Social Market Foundation's work on behavioural change in the Creatures of Habit report and our continued discussion of financial advice. The event, entitled 'Consumer Behaviour in the Financial Services Sector' and supported by AEGON, also featured contributions from Francis McGee of AEGON, Martin Lewis of MoneySavingExpert.com, Lord David Lipsey who is Chair of SMF and Greg Davies of Barclays Wealth. Following the speeches there was a lively discussion chaired by Ian Mulheirn, Director of SMF, with questions from the large audience of key stakeholders.
