
The NHS has embarked on an ambitious programme of risk assessment for cardiovascular disease. Understanding individual risk factors will enable NHS trusts to design appropriate interventions to improve cardiovascular health, and help to tackle one of the UK's most serious health problems.
The Social Market Foundation brought together a range of experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the new cardiovascular disease screening programme.
