The Social Market Foundation is hosting an event on future challenges and opportunities for workplace health. This event will be informed by our ongoing two year project into the future of health provision in the UK.

At this event Bupa will release the first report* of their Health at Work project, undertaken in conjunction with their research partners The Work Foundation, the Oxford Health Alliance and RAND Europe. The report looks at how trends in the demography and economy of the UK, the changing nature of work and changing patterns of disease will affect the health of the workforce over the next 20 years.

For more information please contact Will Hoyles on 020 7227 4412 or email events@smf.co.uk

This event is kindly supported by Bupa

*A second report, to be published later in 2009, will summarise research on which workplace health interventions work best and represent best value for money. The report will also make associated public policy recommendations.
