Ben Richards

Researcher

Ben joined the SMF in March 2014. Ben works on projects including an analysis of the expenditure patterns of households on low incomes, and an assessment of key areas of focus for business policy leading up to the 2015 general election. His other research interests include theories of social justice, and debates on multiculturalism and social solidarity.

Ben recently completed a PhD in Social Policy at the London School of Economics, and has previously worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion, LSE. He has also conducted research for charities including Oxfam and the Child Poverty Action Group.
