Bill Anderson-Samways

Research Intern

Bill is a former research intern at SMF, having joined in January 2022. He holds an MPhil in the Environmental Social Sciences and a BA in Politics and International Relations, both from the University of Cambridge. Previously, he worked for a local authority, researching and writing policy on various matters including alternatives to growth-based metrics of local wellbeing.

Bill’s main area of knowledge lies in climate change and environmental policy, but he has wide-ranging interests in subjects including income inequality, ‘stakeholder capitalism’, and the social impacts of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. He is currently working on projects relating to access to banking and corporate social responsibility.
