John joined the Intergenerational Foundation in October 2021 as an Economics Researcher. He has an undergraduate degree in History, Politics and Economics from UCL and is currently taking the Graduate Diploma in Economics at Birkbeck.
John is interested in incorporating insights from other social sciences, such as psychology and anthropology, into his economic thinking. At IF, he has conducted research on the effects of inflation on young people and the environmental impact of aviation. His other areas of interest include subjective wellbeing and wealth inequality.
