The UK’s household savings rate has been falling for decades, and there are ample reasons to be concerned about their future financial health.
The Social Market Foundation is launching its new report exploring household saving behaviour. The report will analyse why, when and how households choose to save, the factors that prompt them to begin investing and the type of advice they seek.
The launch will explore the report’s recommendations for policy-makers on how households can be encouraged to save and invest more.
