The first Ask The Expert seminar of 2017 featured Dr Angus Armstrong of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research on the UK’s priorities in its future trade negotiations.
Dr Armstrong discussed the World Trade Organisation’s rules, the UK’s options for Free Trade Agreements and criteria for judging whether the Brexit negotiations are a success.
Brexit experts will be a regular feature of the Ask The Expert series in 2017 – confirmed speakers include: Professor Eric Kaufman, Birbeck University and Dr Simon Usherwood, University of Surrey.
