In this seminar we were joined by Dr Martin Moore, Director of the Centre for the Study of Media, Communication and Power at Kings College, London.
Responding to the power of the tech giants, and with the ‘techlash’ in full swing, governments are itching to control the power of Facebook, Google and other UK tech platforms. In this talk, Martin looked at why the proposed cures may be worse than the disease, and argues that democratic governments have misunderstood the problem.
