Chalk + Talk with Professor Gloria Laycock: What really makes crime go down?

This event was held as part of the SMF’s ESRC sponsored Chalk + Talk series with Gloria Laycock.

Gloria was a researcher in the Home Office for many years, leaving as Head of the Home Office Police Research Group for a fellowship in the USA, before coming to UCL as Director of the Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science and running UCL’s Centre for Security & Crime Science.

You can listen to a recording of Professor Laycock’s session below, you can read our summary blog here, and you can download slides from the presentation here.

Speaker:
Gloria Laycock, Professor of Crime Science, University College London
