Tim is Professor of Politics at the Queen Mary University of London and Co-Director, Mile End Institute and Deputy Director, UK in a Changing Europe. He has also worked for the NHS. Tim has taught politics in universities in the UK and New Zealand. He has published several books and his media work includes writing for the Financial Times and the Guardian. He has also appeared on various BBC radio and television programmes. Tim holds BA from the University of Cambridge, Masters Degree from Northwestern University, USA and PhD from Sheffield University.
