The SMF would like to commission a statistician/econometrician/quantitative social researcher to analyse the Wealth and Assets Survey (WAS) as part of our project to explore the financial behaviour of lower-income groups.
We aim to provide our interns with a balanced work experience during their time at the SMF, and you will normally be involved in at least one major project, in addition to providing research assistance to our regular researchers and assisting in general think tank administrative duties.
The SMF is no longer accepting applications for the internship programme for the period of summer 2010. If you are interested in an internship for after this period, please check this page from June onwards for further details on applying. Applicants to the SMF internship programme are required to submit a CV and brief covering letter outlining their interest in working in a public policy environment, and stating when and for how long you are available for placement.
